Aluminum Foil-Coated Ceramic Fiber Insulation Board Production Process
01. Raw Material Preparation
The main raw material is ceramic fiber wool (primarily composed of alumina and silica);
The aluminum foil is typically industrial-grade aluminum foil, which has a certain thickness and heat resistance;
The adhesive is a high-temperature-resistant inorganic adhesive or composite adhesive to ensure resistance to shedding and carbonization at high temperatures.
02. Ceramic Fiber Board Preparation
Fiber Pulping: The ceramic fiber wool is broken into a slurry;
Molding and Dehydration: The slurry is poured into a mold using vacuum forming equipment for dehydration;
Drying and Curing: The formed wet board is dried in a drying oven to achieve the desired strength and shape;
Cutting and Shaping: Standard boards are cut to the required dimensions, ensuring neat edges and uniform dimensions. 03. Aluminum Foil Laminating Process
Surface Treatment: Dust removal and smoothing of the ceramic fiberboard surface are performed to improve adhesion.
Adhesive Lamination: Aluminum foil is evenly applied to the board surface using a specialized high-temperature-resistant adhesive, typically using a roller or flat press method to ensure bubble and wrinkle-free adhesion.
Hot Pressing: Hot pressing is used to further strengthen the bond between the aluminum foil and the board.
Curing: Natural curing or low-temperature drying is used to ensure complete curing of the adhesive.
04. Finished Product Inspection and Packaging
Product flatness, bond strength, and appearance quality are inspected.
Physical and chemical properties testing, such as thermal conductivity and heat resistance, can be performed upon request.
Qualified products are packaged in standard packaging to prevent scratches or damage to the aluminum foil during transportation.
Critical Control Points:
Adhesive selection and coating uniformity;
Aluminum foil heat resistance and thickness;
Board dryness and surface treatment quality;
Control of lamination temperature and pressure to prevent warping or delamination.
