Refractory bulk, commonly known as ceramic fiber bulk, is a lightweight, energy-saving product renowned for its exceptional insulation properties. Typically, in industrial kilns operating above 800°C, ceramic fiber modules-made by needling and folding this bulk into dense, flexible blankets-are the preferred choice for furnace linings. Though soft and white to the touch, these modules provide robust thermal resistance, making them a game-changer in high-temperature applications.
01 Fire-Resistant Product
With a high melting point of approximately 2000°C, ceramic fiber bulk offers superior fireproof and flame-retardant properties. This makes it ideal for use in fire-resistant rolling doors and various safety-related applications.
02 Thermal Insulation Product
Ceramic fiber bulk boasts extremely low thermal conductivity-only 0.086 at 800°C-effectively blocking heat transfer. This feature makes it suitable for insulating high-temperature kilns and preserving low temperatures in cold storage facilities.
03 High-Temperature Endurance Product
Designed to perform continuously at temperatures ranging from 800°C to 1260°C, ceramic fiber products resist disintegration and deformation. They help control thermal loss, regulate temperature zones, and enhance product quality, making them indispensable in high-temperature kiln insulation.
04 Acoustic Absorption Product
The interwoven fiber structure of ceramic fiber bulk, composed of about 90% air gaps, provides excellent sound buffering and absorption. It disrupts sound wave transmission, reducing noise effectively. This makes it a safe and efficient material for soundproofing in spaces like KTV rooms, where both noise reduction and fire resistance are essential.
05 Lightweight Product
Ceramic fiber bulk has a density of around 100 kg/m³, while ceramic fiber blankets and modules range between 128 kg/m³ and 220 kg/m³. Even at higher densities, ceramic fiber modules are only about one-fourth the weight of traditional firebricks. This lightweight nature reduces structural load on equipment, helping extend its service life and improve overall efficiency.
