How To Store And Transport Soluble Fiber Textiles?

1. Storage conditions

(1) Temperature and humidity control

The storage environment of soluble fiber textiles needs to maintain a constant temperature (recommended around 20°C) and dryness (humidity ≤ 60%) to prevent high temperature or humidity from causing premature dissolution or mildew of the fibers.

The warehouse needs to be equipped with a ventilation system to prevent moisture accumulation, and dehumidification equipment should be used when necessary.

(2) Classification and protection

Store according to material or purpose to avoid contact with other chemicals or pollutants.

Store in sealed moisture-proof packaging and use dust-proof bags or film to prevent dust pollution.

(3) Stacking method

Stack vertically to avoid horizontal stacking that may cause fiber deformation or adhesion; the stack height should not exceed 1.5 meters, and soft pads should be used between layers to prevent friction.

Thin or fragile textiles should be placed flat in a moisture-proof box to avoid stretching and deformation caused by hanging.

2. Transportation conditions

(1) Packaging requirements

Use waterproof and moisture-proof packaging materials (such as aluminum foil bags or coated woven bags) lined with desiccant or waterproof layer to prevent dissolution during transportation.

Precision medical textiles can be vacuum packaged to reduce humidity changes caused by air contact.

(2) Transportation tools and loading specifications

Temperature-controlled transportation vehicles (temperature ≤25℃, humidity ≤60%) should be selected first, and transportation should be avoided during rainy days or high temperature periods.

Fix the cargo box during loading, and use shock-proof straps or partitions to separate to prevent sudden braking or bumps from causing damage to the packaging.

(3) Loading and unloading and operation

Use forklifts or lifting equipment to handle with care. Throwing or heavy pressure is prohibited. Gloves must be worn when carrying by hand to avoid direct contact with sweat or oil stains.

Check the integrity of the packaging after loading and unloading, repair damage in time and replace the damp desiccant.

3. Special precautions

Biological soluble fibers (such as medical dressings): need to be stored away from light to prevent accelerated degradation by ultraviolet rays.

High-temperature soluble fiber (such as industrial-grade AES fiber): Keep away from fire sources during storage, and the transport vehicle must be equipped with fire prevention facilities (such as dry powder fire extinguishers). Long-term storage: Regularly check the temperature, humidity and packaging status. The recommended storage period is ≤3 months to avoid performance degradation.

4. Operation process example Pre-warehouse inspection: Confirm the sealing of the packaging and record the temperature and humidity data. Classification and shelving: Store in different areas according to labels, and raise the shelves to avoid moisture on the ground. Outbound shipment: Check the transportation conditions, strengthen the packaging and sign the transportation agreement. Standardized storage and transportation management can maximize the performance stability and safety of soluble fiber textiles.
