Rock wool, a high-quality thermal insulation material, has a production process that combines the essence of technology and technology. Its process mainly includes raw material preparation, smelting and melting, fiberization, cotton collection and solidification, surface treatment and processing, quality inspection and packaging.
Raw materials are the cornerstone of rock wool quality. Select high-quality natural rocks such as basalt, and obtain pure and production-compliant mineral rock materials after crushing, screening and other pretreatments. At the same time, an appropriate amount of flux, catalyst and other auxiliary materials will also be prepared.
Next is smelting and melting. The mineral rock material is sent to a high-temperature smelting furnace and is completely melted into a liquid state through precise temperature control. This process has extremely high temperature requirements, which must ensure that the rock is fully melted and avoid high temperature damage to the equipment.
The molten rock is formed into slender fibers in a high-speed rotating centrifuge through blowing technology. During the fiberization process, the adjustment of blowing pressure and temperature is crucial, which directly determines the shape and length of the fiber.
Subsequently, the formed rock wool fibers are collected by a cotton collection mesh belt and subjected to pressurized curing treatment to improve the product's compressive performance. The cured rock wool board also needs to undergo surface treatment to enhance its waterproof and moisture-proof properties, and can be cut, polished and processed according to demand to make products of different specifications and shapes.
Finally, each batch of rock wool products must undergo strict quality testing, including density, compressive strength, thermal conductivity and other indicators to ensure that the product performance meets the standards before packaging and storage.
