1. Main equipment of ceramic fiber blanket production line
(1) Raw material processing equipment: including crushers, grinders, etc., used to crush and grind the raw materials of ceramic fibers such as kaolin, silica, etc. to obtain suitable particle size and chemical composition.
(2) Melting equipment: Commonly used are high-temperature furnaces such as resistance furnaces and natural gas furnaces. The processed raw materials are put into the furnace and heated to a high-temperature molten state, generally at a temperature of about 1700°C.
(3) Fibering equipment: There are mainly two fiber-forming methods: blowing and spinning. The blowing method uses high-speed airflow to blow the molten ceramic material into fibers; the spinning method uses centrifugal force to spin the molten liquid flow into fibers. Both methods can make the ceramic fibers reach the required diameter and length.
(4) Cotton collection equipment: Collect the fiberized ceramic fibers to form a uniform fiber layer.
(5) Needle punching equipment: The fiber layer is needled by the needles of the needle punching machine to interweave the fibers and increase the strength and density of the fiber blanket.
(6) Cutting and packaging equipment: Cut the produced ceramic fiber blanket to a fixed length and package it for easy transportation and storage.
2. Production process
(1) Batching: According to the performance requirements of the product, accurately weigh various raw materials and batch them to ensure that the composition and proportion of the raw materials meet the production requirements.
(2) Melting: Add the prepared raw materials into a high-temperature furnace for melting to make them into a uniform liquid.
(3) Fibering: The molten ceramic material is made into fibers by methods such as blowing or spinning.
(4) Cotton collection: The fibers are collected into cotton felt of a certain thickness and width.
(5) Needle punching: The cotton felt is needled to improve its physical properties.
(6) Heat treatment: The ceramic fiber blanket is heat treated at a certain temperature to further stabilize its performance and remove impurities and moisture.
(7) Cutting and packaging: Cut according to the specified size and package.
The products produced by the ceramic fiber blanket production line have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, heat insulation, thermal insulation, sound absorption, and light weight. They are widely used in the thermal insulation of high-temperature equipment and pipelines in metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, building materials, machinery and other industries.
