Product Description:

Polycrystalline Alumina Fiber Bulk for High-Temperature Applications is primarily composed of alumina and silica, manufactured using the internationally advanced sol-gel process. Its overall performance metrics are at the leading international level, offering excellent flexibility along with outstanding refractory and thermal insulation properties.

Polycrystalline Alumina Fiber Bulk features uniform fiber diameter and can withstand a maximum continuous service temperature of up to 1600 °C.

Polycrystalline Alumina Fiber Bulk provides exceptional advantages, including superior thermal stability, high mechanical strength, a large elastic modulus, low thermal conductivity, strong electrical insulation, and high resistance to chemical corrosion. Fiber-based products-such as blankets, felts, papers, boards, modules, and custom-shaped parts-exhibit low density and heat capacity, minimal thermal conductivity, and excellent thermal shock resistance.

Based on differences in alumina content and crystalline phase, our product models are classified into: AL72-F, AL72-M, AL95-M, and AL95-N.

 

Product Features:

Outstanding high-temperature resistance:

Continuous service temperature up to 1600 °C; after exposure to liquid nitrogen (–196 °C) for 24 hours, no strength degradation is observed.

Excellent acid resistance:

Demonstrates strong resistance to most chemical substances, except hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, and strong alkalis.

Shot-free fibers (≥ 45 μm):

Lower shot content ensures superior thermal insulation and refractory performance.

Excellent electrical and insulation properties:

Above 600 °C, electrical resistance remains essentially stable. Polycrystalline alumina fibers have a low dielectric constant, making them suitable for high-frequency wave-transmission applications.

Superior flexibility:

AL72-F grade fibers are not prone to breakage during needling, making them highly suitable for needle-punched products.

High design flexibility:

Different performance characteristics can be achieved through precise control of chemical composition and heat-treatment processes.
