Fire-Resistant Rock Wool Pipe For Industrial Piping Systems
Product Description
Fire-Resistant Rock Wool Pipe for Industrial Piping Systems is primarily manufactured using natural basalt as the raw material. After high-temperature melting, the material is transformed into artificial inorganic fibers through high-speed centrifugal equipment. Special binders and dust-proof oils are added, followed by thermal curing, to produce rock wool insulation pipes in various specifications to meet diverse requirements.
Fire-Resistant Rock Wool Pipe is designed for pipeline applications, offering energy-saving thermal insulation, fire resistance, heat protection, oxidation resistance, and anti-corrosion properties. It is widely used in thermal insulation for industrial boilers and pipeline equipment across sectors such as chemical, metallurgical, petroleum, shipbuilding, and textile industries. It is particularly suitable for small-diameter straight pipelines, enabling convenient and efficient installation.
Fire-Resistant Rock Wool Pipe provides special features including moisture resistance, heat dissipation, and waterproofing, making it especially suitable for rainy seasons and humid environments. Its moisture absorption rate is below 5%, with a waterproof rate exceeding 98%.
Key Features
Manufactured from selected basalt as the primary raw material, processed through high-temperature melting into artificial inorganic fibers, offering light weight, low thermal conductivity, good sound absorption, non-combustibility, and excellent chemical stability
Serves as a new-generation thermal insulation, heat preservation, and sound absorption material
Provides waterproofing, thermal insulation, heat preservation, and cold insulation capabilities, maintaining chemical stability without deliquescence even during long-term use in humid environments
Contains no fluoride (F-) or chloride (CL-), ensuring no corrosion to equipment while maintaining non-combustible performance
Applications
Rock wool pipes are extensively used for thermal insulation of boilers and equipment pipelines in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, shipbuilding, and textile industries. They are also applied in construction for insulating partition walls, ceilings, and interior/exterior walls, as well as for various cold and hot pipelines, suitable for both concealed and exposed pipe insulation treatments.
