High-Performance Ceramic Fiber Textiles come in a wide range of forms, including ceramic fiber cloth, ceramic fiber tape, ceramic fiber rope, and ceramic fiber sleeving. Made from high-purity ceramic fibers and processed through advanced textile techniques, these materials demonstrate outstanding high-temperature performance, with continuous service temperatures exceeding 1260°C.

With a very low thermal conductivity of just 0.03–0.05 W/(m·K), High-Performance Ceramic Fiber Textiles also offer excellent chemical resistance, flexibility, and easy cutting and installation. Q1: What is the main difference between ceramic fiber cloth and fiberglass cloth?

A1: Ceramic fiber cloth offers a continuous working temperature resistance of up to 1260°C, which is far higher than fiberglass cloth (limited to about 250°C). It also provides superior chemical resistance, making it suitable for acidic and alkaline high-temperature environments. Fiberglass cloth is more cost-effective but becomes brittle and less reliable at elevated temperatures.

Q2: Does moisture affect the performance of ceramic fiber cloth?

A2: Standard ceramic fiber cloth has a water absorption rate of less than 5%. For applications requiring extra moisture protection, hydrophobic coated products (water absorption below 1%) are available. Additionally, a vapor barrier or moisture-proof insulation layer can be added during installation to enhance durability.
