01 Small specific heat capacity (heat storage)
The thermal capacity of ceramic fiberboard is only about 1/10 of that of lightweight heat-resistant lining or lightweight castable lining, and its specific heat capacity is small, especially in the process of stopping and starting the heating furnace, it plays a significant energy-saving role and reduces the maintenance cost of industrial kiln.
02 Low thermal conductivity
The thermal conductivity coefficient of ceramic fiberboard lining (1000℃, 0.16W/m.k) is only 1/3 of that of lightweight insulation brick lining (1000C, 0.45W/m.k), and the insulation effect is good.
03 Good thermal shock resistance
The ceramic fiberboard has a high porosity. Under the premise that the kiln body can withstand it, the ceramic fiber lining can meet various heating or cooling rates without damage.
04Good sound insulation performance
Ceramic fiber effectively reduces high-frequency noise with a frequency of less than 1000Hz. For sound waves less than 300Hz, the sound insulation ability is better than that of commonly used sound insulation materials, which can significantly reduce noise pollution.
05 Stable chemical properties
The main chemical component of ceramic fiberboard is aluminum silicate, which is a neutral and acidic material. Except for reacting with strong acids and alkalis, it is not corroded by other acids, alkalis, water, oils, and steam, and is not corroded by lead, aluminum, and copper.
06 Wide range of application
Refractory ceramic fiberboard can meet the use requirements of different use temperature sections from 600℃ to 1400℃. It fully meets the use requirements of refractory ceramic fiberboards in different industrial furnaces in various industries.
