SUNTHERM IOWOOL flexible inorganic paper belongs to the alumina-silica system (Al₂O₃-SiO₂) and is manufactured using polycrystalline alumina fibers prepared through the "sol-gel" process. The fibers of this flexible inorganic paper possess a dense internal structure, stable crystalline form, and excellent chemical stability. After undergoing a specialized papermaking process, the bonding between fibers is effectively enhanced, resulting in high tensile strength. Flexible inorganic paper not only offers exceptional high-temperature resistance and thermal insulation but also features outstanding characteristics such as being smokeless, non-toxic, and flame-retardant. Importantly, under high-temperature conditions, the product does not experience loss of strength, structural disintegration, or pulverization, ensuring long-term stable performance even in extreme environments.
